The Okuma GA / GP-FII grinder is adapted for the grinding needs of external diameters in a wide range of industries. A flexible 2-axis configuration allows one to finish parts of external diameter of up to 1m in length and up to 145kg in weight. The heavy Okuma body design and hydrodynamic spindle are the determinant factors for using the GA / GP-FII series for the machining of large parts. Larger discs and higher power helped one create a grinder most commonly encountered while working in the production hall.
