The MILLAC-VH series five-axis machining center enables to produce complex workpieces by machining many sides in one clamping, at the same time increasing the accuracy and reducing the total cycle time. The high-performance machining centers in this series have been designed with a block bed and wide rectangular slide bearing to ensure higher rigidity. Large pre-tensioned ball screws with rigid supports ensure precise positioning. The spindle can be positioned at any angle in the range of 150 degrees. This feature enables one to reduce the machining time and extend the tool life by using a standard end mill instead of a ball mill. The headstock with gear transmission, which rotates every 0.001 degree and positions every 5 degrees, provides exceptional access to the most important surfaces of the object. The standard rotating pallet of the automatic tool changer significantly enhances productivity by reducing the set-up time and increasing the accuracy of the machine.
