MULTUS series machines are multifunctional, general-purpose machine tools designed to minimize the machining time by reducing the number of clamping devices, maintaining accuracy and reducing the non-machining time to a minimum. The Multus series is equipped with the Collision Avoidance System, which together with Okuma THINC-OSP control system enables one to start the entire machining simulation in order to pick up potential collisions, avoiding damage to the material, tools and the machine itself. The temperature-friendly design guarantees high accuracy, even in the most complex applications. The W version with a second spindle is available as an option. It is designed to transfer workpieces from one spindle to the other. This enables one to machine the entire part without changing the clamping devices manually.
