The newest and the largest series Okuma Multus-B750 machine is a multifunctional, general-purpose machine designed for the machining of large size details. The Multus series minimizes the machining time by reducing the number of clamping devices, while maintaining the accuracy and reducing the non- machining time to a minimum. The Multus B750 is equipped with a Collision Avoidance System, which together with Okuma THINC-OSP control system enables one to start the entire machining simulation in order to pick up potential collisions, avoiding damage to the material, tools and the machine itself. The temperature-friendly design guarantees high accuracy, even in the most complex applications. A tough spindle of the tool head (37kW) provides milling conditions comparable to the milling center.
